A Psychedelic Breakthrough

This last journey—got me like whoaaaa, in the best way.⁣

I started my relationship with psilocybin a little over a year ago.⁣

Part of why I decided to let my nursing license go was to be able to freely express my personal experiences with this powerful 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗘…⁣

⁣plus I hadn’t touched a patient in nearly six years and it was time to burn that boat.⁣

I had been putting off a deep journey for a while.⁣
TBH, psilocybin gently kicks the shit out of me.⁣

However, I 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 their sweet call is always on time.⁣
I trust them to guide me up, down, deep, and through.⁣

A roller coaster — especially as someone that would rather be in control.⁣

At the beginning of my last journey, I made a promise to myself and the fungi:⁣

⁣✨ 𝘐 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘨𝘰 ✨⁣

⁣And in the form of a small square of sweet, dark chocolate 🍫…we began our journey.⁣

✨We laughed.⁣

✨We cried… A LOT.⁣

✨We embraced.⁣

✨We experienced eye-opening revelations.⁣

✨We faced hard truths.⁣

✨We shined LIGHT on the parts that have been hiding, full of shame and avoidance.⁣⁣

Together we looked at those parts and we made a pact…⁣

⁣𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙬, 𝙬𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤.⁣

You see, there’s something about going deep within yourself and having the opportunity to choose…⁣⁣

🖤 ignore this.

OR⁣

🖤 heal and integrate this.⁣

It was within the decision of the latter that we exhaled and committed…⁣
the answer wasn’t in the four to six hours we journeyed together…⁣

⁣𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧.⁣

⁣(I’m so proud of this woman).⁣
Truly in awe of her…softer, braver, and more at peace than ever.⁣

I’m excited to share this journey eventually, but for now —⁣
